Autumn Harvest Sangria


–yields 8.5 liters

–3 liters pinot grigio ( or favorite white wine, vinho verde, albarino, etc..)

–3 liters pinot noir ( or favorite red wine, riojo, malbec, chianti, etc..)

–3.5 bottles of VeeV (750ml)

–2 navel oranges (zest the peel off fruit first, then cut 1/2″ cubes, add all to sangria)

–2 honey crisp apples, cut 1/2 inch cubes

–1 whole large pomegranate, remove seeds add to sangria

–4 cinnamon sticks whole

–1 tsp allspice ground

–10 cardamom pods

–10 whole cloves

–1/2 whole nutmeg grated

–10 dashes regan’s orange bitters

–10 dashes angostura bittters

–10 ounces runny honey (equal parts of your favorite honey mixed with hot water)


–combine all ingredients and refrigerate overnight, season to taste if needed.

fill in pitchers or punch bowl, serve chilled with grated nutmeg on top.
